Our Fellow helped fill a growing need for our agency, and within a year was able to dramatically improve, organize, and grow our College Access program. The program has flourished under our Fellow’s guidance, and has allowed us to match more girls with volunteer mentors who guide them through the college application and financial aid process. Due to the improved capacity of our College Access programs, we have been able to increase funding for this program by 75%. MPF has provided our Fellow with high quality trainings that have had a direct impact on our programs while providing our agency a chance to network and collaborate with other youth serving agencies throughout Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Promise Fellowship was proud to host its 5th annual statewide day of service Saturday, April 27th, in conjunction with Global Youth Service Day!
Opportunity to Serve celebrated the work of the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship, our host site organizations, and youth by showcasing 4 service projects in Boston, Lynn, Brockton, & Worcester.
